The Merry Wives of Comedy was a side-splitting stand-up comedy show created by Roz Browne and performed at various venues nationwide. It featured top female comedians from film, TV and the theatre. Audiences have described it as “hilarious” and “one of the best shows we’ve ever seen.”
It premiered in 2007 to a standing room only audience at Lola’s, a popular club in Martha’s Vineyard. (The only other comedians who had previously performed at Lola’s were Dave Chappelle and Chris Tucker!) The final show was at The Improv in Los Angeles in 2011.
The Merry Wives of Comedy was a clean show that delivered non-stop laughs without the profanity or X-rated jokes heard in many comedy clubs. While this production has retired, Roz is available to create a new comedy show for your corporate event or charity fundraiser.
